This course supports EMDR trained clinicians working with children and families in using family and dyadic EMDR applications to strengthen parent child co regulation and support repair after rupture while maintaining EMDR phase fidelity. Grounded in the Adaptive Information Processing model and play therapy principles, participants learn to observe interaction patterns that maintain symptoms and select attachment focused EMDR targets aligned with readiness and treatment planning. Through case examples, the course demonstrates how to pair structured dyadic play with EMDR preparation, resourcing, or selected reprocessing, including tracking autonomic state shifts, adjusting pacing, and supporting integration. The child remains the sole EMDR processing client. Caregiver involvement is taught as a clinical decision to support safety and the client's sense of agency .
