Hey there,

Why this deck exists

I created the Relational Truths Card Deck as a spacious, grounding tool for exploring care, boundaries, and choice in relationships. It's designed for moments when connection feels important but clarity feels hard to hold — and the goal is not to fix or resolve, but to slow down and find steadiness in what is true.

Each card offers one short statement, clear and easy to read, surrounded by generous white space so the words have room to land. The simplicity is intentional. Images, where included, are minimal and symbolic — abstract shapes, gentle lines, nature-inspired elements. No people, no busy designs. The focus stays with the words.

You might use a card to support reflection in a therapy session, to open a conversation about boundaries, or to help someone regulate before moving toward repair. A single statement can offer language for something that has been felt but not yet named. Sometimes reading a card aloud is enough — sometimes it becomes a starting point for deeper exploration.

There is no right way to use these cards. Draw one intentionally, choose one that resonates, or return to the same card over time. Move slowly. Pause. Let the words sit without needing to do anything with them.

These cards can be used with teens, adults, couples, families, or in personal practice. What matters is how they support safety, mutuality, and choice in the moment.

— Take care, Jackie

How to Use This Card Deck

Some cards may feel steady. Some may feel activating. All of it is information.

I.

Pick one card. Take one slow breath.

II.

Notice what happens in your body. You don't have to agree. You don't have to act. Just notice.

III.

Look around the room. Feel your feet on the ground.

IV.

If a card feels like too much, choose a different one. This is a reflection tool, not therapy.

If you need support, reach out to someone you trust.
