REFUND POLICY AND COURSE ACCESS

All purchases through Jackie Flynn Consulting, including courses offered through EMDR Playground and Innovative Child Therapy, are subject to the following refund policy.

LIVE COURSES AND LIVE TRAINING EVENTS

For courses that include live instruction, live workshops, or live experiential components, refunds are available only under the conditions outlined below.

Refund requests must be submitted in writing prior to the start of the live course or event. Once a live course has begun, no refunds will be issued for any reason, including non attendance, scheduling conflicts, personal circumstances, or partial participation.

If a live course includes access to recorded materials, digital resources, or self paced content that becomes available before the live event, no refund will be issued once those materials have been accessed.

If Jackie Flynn Consulting cancels a live course or event, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer registration to a future offering, at the sole discretion of Jackie Flynn Consulting.

RECORDED AND SELF PACED COURSES

All purchases of recorded courses, self paced programs, and digital training materials are final.

Due to the immediate access provided to proprietary intellectual property, no refunds, exchanges, transfers, or credits are offered for recorded or self paced courses under any circumstances.

This includes courses that were originally delivered live and later made available in recorded or self paced format.

Access to recorded or self paced courses may not be paused, extended, transferred, or shared.

GENERAL POLICY TERMS

Refunds will not be granted based on dissatisfaction with course content, teaching style, clinical approach, or perceived relevance.

Failure to complete a course, failure to claim continuing education credit, or failure to meet eligibility requirements does not constitute grounds for a refund.

By enrolling in a course, you acknowledge and agree to this refund policy in full.

FOUNDATIONS AND SCOPE OF PRACTICE

This course is grounded in the standard EMDR Therapy protocol and the Adaptive Information Processing model. It integrates sandtray and play therapy methods to support development, nervous system regulation, and clinical attunement. The course emphasizes fidelity to EMDR while recognizing that clinical application must be responsive to the individual, the developmental context, and the treatment setting.

Sandtray and play therapy methods are presented as adjunctive supports within the eight phases of EMDR Therapy. They are not substitutes for the EMDR protocol. This course does not replace foundational EMDR training. All demonstrations and examples are offered within the structure and intent of the standard EMDR phases grounded in the AIP model.

This is an advanced training designed for licensed mental health professionals and clinicians practicing within the scope of their professional training, licensure, and supervision. The course assumes prior foundational EMDR training and familiarity with play based or expressive approaches. It is not an introductory EMDR course and should not be used outside of appropriate clinical preparation.

Participants are responsible for applying course concepts in a manner consistent with their professional scope of practice, ethical standards, and applicable laws and regulations. Clinical judgment, supervision, and consultation remain essential when integrating any intervention into practice.

This course is educational in nature. It does not constitute psychotherapy, supervision, or consultation for a specific client and does not guarantee clinical outcomes. Completion of this course does not confer certification, licensure, or qualification beyond any continuing education credit stated for the course.
